1) Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Malamuke are the most popular breeds.
2) Dog Sledding is a popular sport in Alaska.
3) Dog Sledding can be extremely dangerous, sometimes resulting in deaths.
4) Dog Sledding is also called Mushing.
5) Mushing is the state sport of Alaska.
6) Sled Dog teams consist of 6 to 14 dogs.
7) The Yukon Sled Race is 1,000 miles long.
