Hey Jammers! Its TheSafari07 here! There are two new items that came out!

In sunken treasures, you can get a Jellyfish lamp. It cost 450 gems. Actually this item is quite neat!! i really like it.

Also at jam mart clothing, you can get a aviator hat. It cost 350 gems. I never even had thought of this item ever to come out on animal jam. Again, quite interesting choice!!

It's been a while since our last party.

So, we here at the Jamaa Journal decided that we're having a party!
It will be a 4th or July and a 7K views party!

So, as you can imagine, you should dress is red, white and blue ^.^

Starting about... 10:30-11:00 AM, EST.Just depends what time I can get on .-. If you do not know the difference between EST and your timezone,  Google it or ask a parent/friend/sibling/lamp/frog/bear. 

Location:
It will be in my, EagleEye34's den. We might move around, and if we do, it will be to skerrymalas' den, puppypooch1's den, and ejaecourts' den. So that means unlock your dens, skerry, ejae, and puppy!

Other Info:
It will be on the 4th of July, so as you can imagine, wear red, white, and  blue.

Sun Balloon!

Hello Jammers! Its TheSafari07 here! Today at the summer carnival, you can get a sun balloon. It cost 14,000 tickets. A little to expensive, don't you think? At least the prizes at the carnival are pretty cool. But i think we should have more games. I like the games that are there already, but more awesome games are always good to have!

Jamaa journal Volume 63 and new toys!

Hello Jammers! Its TheSafari07 here! Since today is the update, volume 63 of the Jamaa Journal has arrived!

First page: YAY Penguins are out for EVERYONE!

Postponed my Party

Hello Jammers.Daisygal54 here.. Today I feel so depressed; my club membership has expired, and my dad doesn't want to buy me another until later on, say early July? Gosh, it totally slipped my mind about when my membership was gonna expire. Sorry about that guys, but I can't have my den party anymore. So, I'm going to postpone it until further notice. i'm sorry to have put your hopes up too high, and I will make the party 2 times better as I had planned it to be. If you have a blog and you knew about my party, please, spread the word that It's not going to happen anymore. I guess I'll just wallow in some self-pity D:

Jamaasian Movement

Have you guys noticed how much Animal Jam is changing? It used to be spiritual and realistic. Now we have watersides, cruises, and houses! I am guessing everyone of you reading this joined Animal Jam to learn about the world and to meet new people, no to become famous and have rares. Shamans aren't seen anymore, and everything new that comes is impossible for an actual animal to use. Jamaa is turning into New York, soon there will be buildings, suits, and penthouse dens! HQ is treating us like 5 year olds and not telling us the truth about the hacks and glitches, and tells us that it is phantoms, when almost everyone knows they don't exist. Please spread the word, post this on your blog, tell your friends, tell every jammer possible. We need HQ to realize that we care, and we need the old spiritual, reasonable Jamaa back. If we work together, we can change everything, and get the Jamaa we want, no scammers, no fame, just a peaceful place where we stand as one family! It was all inspired by snowyclaw. Hamster Plushies, Carousals, and Shamans

New stuff in the Carnival:

Hamster Plushies and Carousal Hats! The hats came out yesterday, and in my opinion the hamsters are way cute--though they do resemble mice.

A few days ago, I sent a quick e-mail to AJHQ, asking them about the names of the shamans. You know, like Peck, Greely, and Sir Gilbert? Anyway, here are some pictures of the shamans:

Peck the Rabbit Shaman, Greely the Wolf Shaman, Sir Gilbert the Tiger Shaman (though why you'd name a tiger Sir Gilbert, I have no idea), Cosmo the Koala Shaman, Graham the Monkey Shaman, and Liza the Panda Shaman.
For those of you newer to Animal Jam, these were the original six animals. All were available to members and nonmembers alike!

So, I sent this e-mail asking about the names of the shamans. Like, do they have a story behind them, like Cami's Frog? Or were they just cool-sounding names?

Hi There, Jammer!
Thank you for contacting Animal Jam HQ, and might we add, that's a very wild question! As you may know, the Shamans are very mysterious. They are the leaders of each kind of animal, and are the guardians and protectors of Jamaa. They spend most of their time exploring new lands, and bringing new types of animals back to Jamaa. Since they are quite busy in other lands, we don't see them very often and we're not really sure how they got their names.
We want to let you know that even though you may not see the Shamans, you can still help them out by being a Super Citizen of Jamaa! Isn't that cool?
Here are just a few examples of things you can do to help fellow Jammers:
- Start your own game and invite new Jammers
- Host a party with a fun theme
- Invite a new player to your den
- Answer your fellow Jammer's questions
- Run your very own guided tours!
The sky is the limit as a Super Citizen. If you see someone that needs help, go for it. Also remember, if you see someone breaking the rules, don't be afraid to send in a Player Report!

Animal Jam HQ

Ohhkaaayy... That didn't really answer my question...

Essentially, the shaman's names have no special meaning behind them. And here I was, hoping for a more interesting post...

I've only ever seen Liza (at the very beginning, when you first make your account) and Graham, who was visiting Jamaa Township. That was about a nine months ago. :/

Has anyone noticed the distinct lack of games in the Summer Carnival?
So, I logged on and prepared to play my morning game of Phantom Ball...

The game had vanished!

I went over to check on Candy Catch and Whack-A-Phantom, but...

Where'd they all go?

I'm really confused and annoyed at AJHQ! What could be going on?
So, I logged out and went back...
Lo and behold, the games had returned!

Creepy, right?
Also, when I was in the glitched-up Carnival, all of my friends were continually loading. I couldn't move to any of them!
As a side note, have you noticed that the "Go To" button doesn't work so great when the person is in the Carnival? They gotta fix this!

In the Carnival, you can now find frog and duck plushies.

There still aren't any new clothes in the Carnival! I bet the Carnival clothes will be epic, so I'm saving up my tickets. Do you think we'll get to keep any tickets we don't spend for next year?
